We have been travelling extensively since the winter of 1999-2000, visiting Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Central and South America, Cuba, Africa, India, Sri Lanka, several Southeast Asian countries, plus Europe.

Our Family
Ottawa, the capital of Canada, has been our home since November 1992. Ray was a manager with Bell Canada and Jeanne worked in the IT world. We are both now retired and have time to pursue our other interests and travel the world. Ottawa is a great place for us to bicycle and hike in the Gatineau hills and easy access to the Adirondacks, New Hampshire, Vermont and Virginia.
Travels with the Burnhams
We have spent between three and five months exploring the world every year since the winter of 1999-2000. The winter of 2007-8 brought new dimensions to our travelling when our daughter Erica and her family moved to Paris. We have learned to enjoy exploring Paris and sharing more of Europe with the family. During 2007 and 2008 we added a month of volunteer activities while travelling in the Philippines and Thailand.
